Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Associate Banks of State Bank of India

State Bank of India is planning to recruit probationary officers for its associate banks to be placed all over India. The written examination for which is scheduled to be held on 07.08.2011 (Sunday). The dates for payment of fees is from 02.06.2011 to 23.06.2011. Online registration will start from 04.06.2011 and the last date for receipt of on-line applications is 25.06.2011.

National Conference on Career and Research Trends in Food Processing on 24th & 25th June 2011 @ IICPT, Thanjavur, TN

IICPT is planning to organize the following events on 24th & 25th of June 2011in the premises at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

1. Two Days National Conference on “Career and Research Trends in Food Processing” on 24th & 25th June.
2. One day Workshop on “HACCP and Food Safety in Food Industries” on 24th JuneOne day workshop on “Bulk Storage Systems” on 24th June.
3. One day training Program on “Cottage Level Food Entrepreneurship” to farmers and Self Help Group members on 24th June.

Renowned speakers from across the country will be speaking on various aspects of Food Processing and more than 1500 delegates are expected to participate in these events.

All these events will be inaugurated by the Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The Joint Secretary, MoFPI and Top level officials from the central and state governments are also expected to participate in the events.  Bankers, government representatives, new and existing entrepreneurs in food processing businesses, academicians, research students, farmers, self help group members and public at large are expected to attend the events.

The conference will bring out a valuable compendium of delegations in the form of souvenir, which will be distributed to all the participants and reputed institutions across the country.

Jobs at National Biscuit and Confectionery Company, Jeddah

National Biscuit and Confectionery Company, Jeddah is one of the largest biscuit and snack producing company in the gulf region. They have very well known brand in biscuit and snack category and market leader in Saudi Arabia. They are in the process of expansion and increasing the capacity of their current lines and they are looking to recruit 10 Junior Male Food Technologist as Junior Line Supervisor for their biscuit and snack operations. The desired qualification for these posts will be diploma or B-Tech in Food Technology with minimum 6 months to 2 year work experience. Even freshers who are willing to learn can also be considered. This is a starting level position and the deserving candidate can always climb higher based on his performance and hard work. It is a very good opportunity to learn and gain experience in biscuit and snack production line.

Following remuneration will be offered for selected candidates:

1. Basic Salary: SR 2500 ( Rs 30000)
2. Shared Accommodation Provided by the company and transportation from Accommodation to Factory provided by company
3. Food Allowance of SR 350 per month provided by the company
4. Once in 18 month  ticket to home country with 45 days paid holiday
5. Overtime of 4 hours per day on an average

This is bachelor level positions so for married people they have to go to Saudi Arabia without their family.
